Low oil carryover and stable pressure drop begin with a well-built separation core. 6.3792.2 is a precision oil vapor separation core for Kaeser rotary screw compressors. Using layered borosilicate glass fiber media with a metal support cage, it condenses microscopic oil aerosols from the compressed air stream and returns clean lubricant to the sump while delivering pure air to downstream lines.

A saturated or collapsed core causes rising differential pressure, oily discharge air, wasted lubricant, higher energy draw, and faster fouling of aftercoolers and valves. Static buildup or a tired return path makes carryover worse. During service: depressurize the vessel, drain oil, pull the spent 6.3792.2, wipe the separator housing, fit the new core with a fresh gasket and ground strap, reseal the cover, refill oil, then check dp and leaks under load. Match overall height (~172mm), largest OD (~128mm), and flange/bore to the original.
