Product Introduction

Intake dust is the slow killer—it scores the airend, loads the oil, and shortens every downstream filter. 25100020-001 is an air filter / intake filter element for screw compressor suction, shown as a cylindrical pleated media cartridge with pink/red urethane end caps. Ambient air passes through the media before entering the compressor inlet, stripping dust and particulates so the airend, oil circuit, and air-oil separator do not carry the contamination load.

Running a loaded or ill-fitting filter raises pressure drop at the suction side, which drags down flow and efficiency, and can let bypass air around a poorly seated gasket straight into the rotor. Replace on service hours or when the intake differential indicates restriction; inspect the inlet duct and housing for debris while open. Seat the element fully, verify the seal lip/end cap matches the air box, and check for leaks after run-in.

Match outer diameter, inner bore, height, and seal profile to the removed element before dispatch; supplier fitment may cross to various compressor packages but the old cartridge and machine serial stay the final check.
