Why Replace Existing Compressed Air Piping with Super Pipeline When It Still Works?

Why build new or upgrade to Super Pipeline for your compressed air system? Simply put, it saves substantial operating costs!
Current Issue 1: Rising Pressure Drop Caused by Internal Pipe Corrosion

Carbon steel pipes gradually build up rust deposits on the inner wall over time, thickening the pipe wall and increasing flow resistance and pressure drop.

By contrast, aluminum alloy and stainless steel pipes are corrosion-resistant and maintain stable pressure drop throughout service life.

Case Example: Carbon steel pipes see a 1 bar pressure rise within 3 years. Assuming the electricity tariff averages ¥0.83 per kWh. Every 1 bar pressure increase leads to a 7% rise in air compressor power consumption.
Calculation for a 250 kW air compressor:
250 kW × 7% × ¥0.83/kW = ¥14.525 extra electricity cost per hour (additional hourly energy consumption after 3 years)
¥14.525 × 8,760 hours/year = ¥123,000 extra energy cost per year after 3 years
Current Issue 2: Pipe Corrosion Impairs the Entire System

Corrosion gradually reduces the dehumidification efficiency of air dryers. Poor drying performance accelerates pipe rust formation, raising airflow resistance and generating more air leakage points,

which further boosts energy consumption.

Contaminants generated by corrosion degrade compressed air quality and damage end-user pneumatic equipment.

This problem troubles 60% of manufacturing enterprises. Facilities relying on corrosion-prone steel piping for compressed air distribution suffer energy losses exceeding 25%!

Where Does All the Money Go? Analysis of High-Cost Compressed Air Losses
Pipe rust roughens and thickens inner walls, triggering pressure drop, higher power consumption and wasted production resources.
Improper pipeline layout causes pressure drop, increasing power consumption and wasting production resources.
Air leakage in pipelines leads to extra power consumption and resource waste.
Improper operation habits push up energy consumption and create resource losses.
Steel pipes are heavy and difficult to install, resulting in excessive installation costs.
