This article introduces the performance of different configurations and how to reasonably select and match air compressor post-treatment equipment according to actual working requirements.
Air compressors generate compressed air containing oil, moisture and particulate contaminants. The oil separator separates compressor lubricating oil from compressed air,
yet trace oil will still be carried downstream by the airflow. Therefore, post-treatment equipment such as refrigerated air dryers, filters and oil-water separators need to be equipped.
Refrigerated air dryers are mainly used to remove moisture, while precision filters are designed to eliminate oil aerosols and airborne impurities.
Compressed air filters are deployed to remove contaminants inside compressed air systems, including iron filings, dust, oil and hydrocarbon mist.
They deliver high-quality compressed air that meets production requirements, and are essential filtering equipment for factories and laboratories. A typical filter consists of a top cover,
middle housing and bottom housing. Two round holes are machined on both the top cover and middle housing. Two aluminum barrels are installed side by side between the corresponding holes to form the first and second filter chambers.
The bottom of the lower housing is connected to a drain assembly via a connector, and a float is built inside the drain device.
