Application of Filters in Laser Cutting

Spatter is generated during the cutting process of laser cutting machines. Even tiny contaminants can easily contaminate optical lenses, 

which further causes unstable operation of the cutting head and results in unsatisfactory cutting performance and quality. 

Clean auxiliary compressed gas can protect lenses from contamination by spatter. However, compressed air normally contains impurities including dust, moisture and oil. 

Ordinary filters are unable to guarantee sufficient cleanliness of downstream gas, therefore professional filters are required for treatment.
