It runs start/stop and load/unload logic, displays pressure, temperature, run hours and fault history, handles safety interlocks, maintenance timers, and supports RS-485/Modbus communication for plant integration.

A failing panel causes blank or frozen LCD, unresponsive keys, lost parameters after power loss, false overtemp/overload alarms, or no-start. Surges, humidity, or unwritten firmware are common issues. During replacement: cut main power, photo and label all terminals, swap the old 88292036-888, restore wiring exactly, power on, load machine-specific firmware/parameters (must be programmed by supplier using nameplate/serial), and verify live readings.
