02250077-469 Unloader Valve Repair Kit is a service overhaul kit for the unloader / inlet valve assembly on oil-injected rotary screw air compressors.

 It replaces the worn seals, diaphragm and valve seat inside the unloader valve, restoring proper load/unload operation and air-tight sealing.

Function

The unloader valve controls compressor loading and unloading by opening or closing the inlet according to system pressure. Worn seals or a cracked diaphragm cause:

• Compressor will not load or will not unload
• Frequent rapid load/unload cycling (hunting)
• Air leakage and high power consumption at idle
• Inability to reach set working pressure
