Built with high-density filter media and a durable metal canister, it traps sludge, metal particles, and carbon deposits, ensuring clean oil circulates through the bearings, rotors, and cooler.

A clogged, bypassing, or ruptured oil filter causes oil starvation, abrasive wear, rising airend temperature, accelerated oil degradation, and catastrophic bearing failure. Restricted flow is a frequent trigger for shutdown alarms. During replacement: stop the unit, relieve pressure, drain oil (or catch spillage), unscrew the old 6.3465.0-4, apply a thin oil film to the new gasket, hand-tighten firmly, refill oil, and check for leaks under pressure.
