02250100-042 and 02250100-634 are two versions of the large blowdown valve for Sullair screw air compressors, mounted on the oil separator tank. When the compressor unloads or shuts down, the valve automatically opens to release residual pressure inside the separator tank. It ensures no-load restart and prevents motor overload caused by trapped pressure. 02250100-634 is the updated version to replace older part 02250100-042.
